HOLIDAY IN PRIVATE
Perfect relaxation and sports in one location
The magic of this region will meet the expectations and wishes even of the most exacting visitors all year round. It can become a cold winter country and skiers’ paradise while in a moment it can turn into a touching arena of varied colours and scents. During your walks through the historic recesses of the neighbourhood you can admire the beauties of Spiš, recharge your energy or just relax. In the vicinity one can find marked hiking trails or discover Poráčska dolina (the Valley of Poráč), the unique natural environment of the Galmus mountain range and monuments registered in the UNESCO list of the world cultural heritage, e.g. Spišský hrad (Spiš Castle), the town of Levoča, Spišská Kapitula or the village of Žehra.
The magnificent natural scenery of Dolný Spiš and Plejsy is complemented by the three-star Hotel Plejsy with the total accommodation capacity of 186 beds. The appeal of the hotel is enhanced by its architecture, as well as by its professional services and the staff’s individual approach to each guest. Hotel Plejsy is situated just 50 m from the Relax Center Plejsy ski resort and offers accommodation suitable for anyone, ranging from two-bed rooms, through family suites of duplex type to fully equipped “suites deluxe” or “suites exclusive” comprising several bedrooms and a kitchenette.
Your stay will be made even more enjoyable thanks to the relaxed atmosphere of the spacious, recently refurbished restaurant with a view of the surrounding nature offering fantastic home cooking and friendly waiter service. Our guests are looked after by professional staff under the management of the hotel chef, Karol Sklenár, who was a coach of finalistists of Slovak cooking show „MasterChef“ and he is a member of Slovak Gourmet club and World Master Chef Society. Special dietary requirements, e.g. gluten-free food for celiacs, food for diabetics, macrobiotic food and vegetarian diet are not a problem for the professional hotel kitchen staff either.
Hotel guests can relax in the fully equipped wellness centre „Plejsy Spa & Paradise“. The indoor complex is aimed at regeneration and renewing your energy and comprises an indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, the Finnish, steam, herbal and infra sauna, the Kneipp’s bath and tepidarium and is a real oasis of relaxation. Apart from the wellness activities guests can choose from a wide range of massages and classical or seasonal treatments carried out by professional masseurs.
Hotel Plejsy features two bowling lanes. One lane can be used by up to 10 players at once. Apart from a game of bowling, guests can have refreshing classic or special long drinks prepared in the bar. More active guests can enjoy a game of billiard, tennis or use the golf simulator by which they can be metaphorically transferred to the world’s best known golf courses.
The youngest visitors will not be bored in this hotel either. Children’s area is equipped with a variety of toys for playing and learning. In case of chilly weather the hotel offers an alternate plan both for children and adults by playing at X-box or Wii.
The four-legged family members are welcome at the Hotel Plejsy too as it ranks among the “pet friendly” hotels.
Hotel Plejsy offers a lot of opportunities to companies. The congress hall with the capacity of 150 seats arranged in theatre seating and the lounge with the capacity of up to 30 seats offer a wide range of possibilities for organizing congresses, trainings, seminars, company games, parties and other social events.
Hikers and cyclists can try several attractive trails in the vicinity of the town of Krompachy. The network of paths is marked by guideposts indicating the duration of the trip at an average walking pace. The central signs are located in the centre of Krompachy at the crossroads of the SNP and Maurerova streets. Krompachy is also part of the Gothic walk route marked by typical signs. Some segments of the proposed routes can be taken by train or by bus as most of the described locations can be reached from Krompachy by means of public transport, which operate quite frequently.
